Project Title: LIFE JACKET - A COMPREHENSIVE TECHNICAL DOCTOR

HARDWARE: ARDUINO UNO, ARDUINO ETHERNET SHIELD, ARDUINO BLUETOOTH SHIELD

SOFTWARE: ARDUINO IDE 1.5.2, MICROSOFT VISUAL STUDIO (C# PROGRAMMING), ANDROID STUDIO (ANDROID PROGRAMMING), JAVA (ECLIPSE)

What challenge/problem are you trying to solve through your application:

Real time analysis of patient details, immediate and automatic alert of patient status to Doctors.

How does your application solves the above mentioned challenge/problem:

Supports Remote monitoring with help of Remotely connected Medical Instruments for each and every critical patients. Alerts to Ambulance with GPS co-ordinates, Alerts to Mobile Phones of Doctors attending respective critical ICU patients etc.,

Description of Project:

Sensor networks are currently an active research area mainly due to the potential of their applications. In this paper we discuss the use of wireless sensor networks for Life Jacket – A Comprehensive Medical Doctor System. With the world getting busier and health of the people is at stake, we proposed an innovative system named The Life Jacket system, a new model of medical care developed based on sophisticated computer networks, modern communications and sensor technologies. It assures health care services for people anywhere and anytime. By wearing miniaturized wireless sensing devices, patients can be kept informed of their health condition, whilst medical staff in remote monitoring center could receive data from those devices and give patients suggestions in time, so that the possibility of a medical emergency could be considerably reduced.
