Project Information
Project Title:
QUAD-CHANNEL DATA LOGGER WITH WIRELESS COMMUNICATION
Hardware & Software Used:
Hardware: TI-MSP430 , uC32 ChipKit, different sensors
Software: Code Composer Studio , NI Labview
What challenge/problem are you trying to solve through your application:
1)Simultaneous monitoring of different analog signals
2)Wireless transmission over long ranges
3)Attempt to deploy the device in areas unfit for human beings to enter
How does your application solves the above mentioned challenge/problem:
1) Making use of Multichannel ADC of the TI-MSP430 and the graphical programming interface of Labview
2) Software UART - Zigbee wireless technology
Description of Project:
This is a low cost, compact, data monitoring/logging system continuously monitoring analog parameters such as temperature, pressure, humidity, sound and light, and transmitting the data to host wirelessly, which alerts the monitoring personnel upon crossing critical thresholds for any of the parameters. Host is implemented using TI MSP430/Chipkit and Labview is used to program uC32 ChipKit.

I came across your project when I searched the forums for a LabVIEW example. Specifically, I am
looking for an example that shows how to write or read the register of a different (TI AFE5801) ADC.I think the community would benefit from the code, unless your Prof. objects
