You are going to love this kit. I think that the hardware is good forever but the software is only active for 90 days. You can purchase a license from NI to continue using the software after the 90 days are up.
I posted a long list of books, web sites and other information concerning LabVIEW FPGA in another post in this forum.
If you live near Chicago I would love to show you LabVIEW, and also LabVIEW FPGA. I love LabVIEW and I think that LabVIEW has come up with a rapid approach to programming FPGA when one compares it to VHDL or Verilog (the traditional languages).
