Hi,

I'm using the NI PXI 2536 switch in 8X68 matrix configuration in my test system. I want to switch the multiple Host USB interfaces from the test unit to a single USB device (USB loopback adapters available in the market). When I tried switching the USB interfaces from the MAX (switch soft front panel), the USB device is not detected by my test unit (USB host). I could see the power USB 5V power LED glowing in the loopback adapter, but nothing more than that. When I bypassed the 2536 switch and connected the USB device directly to the test unit, the USB device is detected.

 Is there any limitation with the switch?

How do you have the wires configured from your USB devices? As long as everything is connected properly and you are not exceeding the power limitations in the specs, you should be able to switch between separate devices if you allow everything to settle.
