I recently purchased a PXI Chassis as configured and shown in the image shown below. What I'm wondering is how I can syncronize the clock from the 5663E to both of my 5651's? I'd really like to have the 5663E generate a clock that is made available on the Chassis backplane, however, I'm not sure that can be done via just software (It'd require me routing with wires if possible at all?). I guess the overall high level goal is to have a single clock reference that is made by one of the PXI Modules (probably the 5663E) and available to all modules in the Chassis. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

I think the solution is to move the 5663E over to slot 14 which provides the ability to drive the clock as shown below?

Hi,
You will also need to export the sample clock from NI RFSG to ClkOut and import the sample clock source in NI RFSA as ClkIn. As shown in the figures below.
For more information about advanced topics for the NI 5663E can be found in the NI RF Vector Signal Analyzer Help document located in your Start Menu » Programs » National Instruments » NI-RFSA » Documentation » NI RF Vector Signal Analyzers Help.
Also, to get more familiar with synchronizations options available on the PXI platform refer to the following documents:
