We have "upgraded" to a PXI-8110 controller from a PXI-8176, both with Win-XP OS.
When trying to use a 2nd or 3rd video display via cPCI cards in a 1010 or 1006 chassi, the onboard video stop working.
We've checked with NI and done the BIOS upgradew, without a change.
The video boards we use are Peritek (now unavailable and we would like to buy more) and the AdLINK card.
thanks for any ideas

Hi John-
Did the PXI-8176 work before the 8110? You seemed to imply this from your message.
My understanding of adding video displays using cPCI cards is that they take precedence as the default video display. Since you have performed the BIOS upgrade to no avail, I wonder if the problem is OS-specific. If I remember correctly, both Windows Vista and 7 have upgraded video functionality from Windows XP.
The PXI Embedded Controllers are essentially just PCs. I would see if you can test this setup with another OS on another PC.
