Hi everyone, I have a custom PCIe board for data streaming using RS-232. I know how to configure a device to be recognized by NI MAX. I actually used the NI-Visa Driver Wizard for an IO module before. My question is about the capabilities of the National Instrument's Kernel Component for PCI.
Can the generated driver be used by a data streaming device? (It will use interrupts and DMA.)
I know the question does not give too much info but a guideline would be appreciated.

Using the NI-VISA Driver Wizard and NI-VISA to Register-Level Program a PXI/PCI Device under Windows should contain all the information you need.
