Thank you but that still doesn't help me much either. I realize now that I can't simulate the SCXI-1129 matrix devices that I use either. Initially I was thinking I could use the PXI version (2529) but the density isn't there. Also, the DMM isn't just the controller in my set up, it's also the principle measuring instrument. If I start using other devices just to get it to work then I'm actually creating extra work for myself to convert to a real set up later.
