How to access the CPU temperature and other system health related
information that is available from motherboard (e.g. voltages)? Note
that Pentium 4M makes available to the motherboard two pins for
accessing the thermal diode. This information can be monitored from
Windows via the HMONITOR program, as referenced on your website.
However we are not using Windows! What chipset accesses the thermal
diode? At what addresses is it mapped? Please point me to documentation
for this chipset, as well as NI documentation on its implementation in
the PXI-8186.
Note, we are not using windows or labview-- we have a real RTOS. Hardware: PXI-8186.
