Calibration

Hi all, do the PXI-6542 waveform generators require annual calibration?

Thanks,

As always.. it depends ...

If you use it as a source for something concerning quality, you will need to calibrate it. Usually you have someone around with a quality badge 😉 , who should be able to answer that question in detail. Finally the assesor (ISO XXXXX) will tell you 😄

Say you use it in a EndOfLine-tester to provide signals and you read the response:YES    but if you also read the generator output with a calibrated ADC .. maybe NO (but the ADC needs to be calibrated)

The periode also depends on how you use it and a risc analyses, manufactor documetation and (documented) instrument history ...

What is your application?
