Change from PXI to PCI

Actually we have a Functional tester with the next PXI devices:
PXI 1010  Chasis
NI PXI-8176 Controller
NI PXI-8461 CAN Interface
NI PXI-6031E
NI PXI-6602  Counter Card
 
....And Now we need to change this PXI devices by using PCI cards with a conventional computer
my concern is about the functioning of the currently software once time it be with the new computer and PCI cards

the Question is:

the currently software could be work without any code modifications ?? or this change in hardware involves too much software modifications??

Hi Delt,

Im not sure if I understand you right but if you are wanting to replace the PXI card with their PCI equivalents, this should only require slight code modification by changing the device names in the code.  Sometimes PCI and PXI cards specs vary from one another slightly so make sure you are alright there, but otherwise, no problem.
