Drive PXI_TrigN Line w/ External Digital Input?

Solved!

Is possible to take a digital input captured by a PXI module, such as a PXI-6509, and export it to one of the backplane PXI_TrigN lines?

I saw my father do some work on a car once as a kid and I asked him "How did you know how to do that?" He responded "I didn't, I had to figure it out."

Hello!

You can try using the DAQmx Connect Terminals VI and DAQmx Disconnect Terminals VI to build this rout, this KB talks about the opposite process but still worthy to read. Before trying this, go to NI-MAX, select the card and click on the Device Routes tab to show the available routes for your device. Here you can check if the terminals of your card can be connected to the PXI trigger lines.

I would if I had the physical PXI module, but I don't yet, I'm looking at getting one to do what I've described but I haven't been able to find the routing info listed anywhere but in MAX.

EDIT: This card may just not have this capability as some other ones have routing info if added as simulated DAQmx modules.
