Error 200617 on every usage of NI PXI-5610 that was previously working

Hello Fred,

Have you tried the self test executable, attached to this forum post?

And could you please try to:

Run the RFSG Frequency Sweep example continuously for several hours?  (Example finder in LabVIEW)
For example you can use the following configuration: 

Start Frequency: 1GHz 
End Frequency: 2 GHz 
Number of steps: 100 
Dwell in Each Step: 10 

You can run this example via the Run Continuously button, next to the run arrow. 

One other thing that could cause this would be incorrect cooling, could you please make sure that the cooling is still ok?

i m also facing the same problem while using the NI PXI-5610 RF upconverter for RFSG example :-

niRFSG Commit.vi<ERR>The upconverter reported the following error:

DAQmx Error -200617 occurred:
Measurements: Output generation was aborted by the reverse power protection circuitry of the device. Either the output signal exceeded the output power limit, or power was being driven back into the output of the device by an external source. Correct the problem, then generate the signal again.

I have also tried doing a self test on the RFSG unit in MAX which fails with error 200020.

what should i do?

Hello 

Have you tried the:Self Test Internal.zip file attached to a post on the first page? What was the result?

Have you connected the output? It looks like the signal is being reflected back into the device.
