FPGA 64-bit compilation for PXI-7842R board

Hi,

Does anyone know if FPGA 23.1.0 (2023) 64-bit or later versions will support compilation on the PXI-7842R board?

Gave me hope it would on the PXIe variant, but then I spotted "(Except the PXIe 7841/2R)". My project opened in 2023 Q3 (64) with FPGA 23.1.0 is showing the warning that the FPGA module doesn't support the current target.

Has anyone experience of compiling on the 32-bit version then running from LabVIEW using the 64 bit toolkit as the KB suggests? Any caveats?

I was able to add PXI-7842 and PCIe-7842 to a LabVIEW 2023 32-bit but not 64-bit.  There are several targets that are not supported in 64-bit.

I could not see a PXIe-7842; does this even exist?  I think the article may be incorrect; I will send feedback.

Hi Terry,

Thanks for taking the time to investigate. We’ve actually decided to use a different R series board which is supported under 64-bit, so easy fix.
