Failed to LoadLibrary on c:\ni-rt\system\NIMCDB.mxe with error code 2

I am getting this error when starting up our controller:

Failed to LoadLibrary on c:\ni-rt\system\NIMCDB.mxe with error code 2

Our controller is an NI-8176 running LabViewRT. The host computer runs WinXp and my account does not have administrative priveledges.

Any hints on what this error is and/or how to resolve it?

It turns out the file was just missing (somehow disappeared?!). We replaced it and all is well.
