How do I suppress the VISA configure serial port widget from setting RTS?

Hi,

I am familiar with using the VISA property nodes to set control lines individually.  However, I notice that when I simply configure the serial port using the VISA Configure Serial Port widget, the RTS line is set.  For my application, it would be best if that did not happen.  Is there a way to suppress this effect, or is there an alternate way to open/configure a serial port that does NOT have this side effect?

Hey Kylie,

I don't think there is another way to set the RTS line other than setting it with a VISA property node. If you would like a brief overview of how to do this, I have enclosed a link to an online article, just in case.
