How to Start Acquistion with a Digital Trigger with a ZT430PXI board!

Hello everyone, I am using ZT430PXI board for my Data Acqusition. I would like to provide information of what I would like to do exactly. With the LabVIEW program VI (attached to this e-mail) which I am using for Acquisition, I am not able to supply the trigger. My main goal is to start the Acquisition process with an external trigger. The trigger which I mean is the trigger provided by connecting the input to TRG port of the ZT430PXI board. If you have any idea regarding, how this works I would like to know the process of attaching the trigger in this program. Initially when I have worked with Data Acquisition Board PCI-6115 from NI, I had something like AI Start in which I can specify my trigger with out any problem. Here, I don’t see AI start working. So, I would like to know if you have any idea about how does a triggered acquisition works when I use ZT430PXI board for my Data Acquisition. Thanks for your valuable support.

PS: please find the LabVIEW program that I am using with this e-mail.

Kay

Hello Kay Kay,
I'd like to help out, but I don't know anything about your 3rd party data acquisition device.  You might have to ping the support team for the manufacturer of your device.  Also, I don't have the driver for your board, so it won't do any good for me to look at your program (I won't have any of your VIs).  I could definitely help out if you were using the NI-6115 (as could many others that view these forums), but I'm not sure that you will get much help here with your other device.  Sorry.

Hello Alan Sir, I am sure that you would have helped me if you have some knowledge about this board. The main thing is - NI has the best Tech-Support. From the Z-Tec Inc, I didn't get any good reply except a mail that says "we will take a look at your code". Its tough to visualize the code since its very huge and confusing. We have lot of parameters to set in the LabVIEW code. Evern though I followed the instructions given in the manual, I am not able to get it done. Its fun to work on NI-6115  (or) any other NI devices and my doubts will be clarified with in hours I post it. Since we have seen the Ztec board in NI website, we bought it assuming that someone who had worked on it and would help us if we have any problem with the board. Anyway, I hope someone who had already worked on this would ping me (or) I get a reply from Ztec Tech support team. Thank you sir!
