I am seeking a low-cost solution (< ~$500) to connect a manufacturer-specific PCI card to my PXI-1010 system (equipped with PXI-8176). The PCI card is currently being used to operate one of our analytical instruments via a standalone PC. Is there nothing like a PCI-to-CompactPCI or PCI-to-PXI adapter available out there on the market? (I checked the internet, but could not find anything useful other than PCI expansion boxes that cost as much as a standalone PC.)
