I cannot install NI Veristand RT Engine 2011 to LabVIEW RT 2012

Hi All,

Since I am pretty new to this board, excuse me i am asking double questions.... 🙂

I am working with:

RT System: NI-PXIe 8135

Software:

LabVIEW 2012

NI Veristand 2011 SP1

NI Teststand 2012

I am currently trying to get my simulation in Veristand work properly. So, it means that i have to install NI Veristand Engine to RT Target by using MAX.

I have got the message (see attachment) during installation.

Question:

Is it possible to install NI Veristand Engine 2011 to my RT Controller which has Labview 2012 Real time engine without downgrading my Labview 2012 to 2011?

Any help would be appreciated...

Hi Rajamodol,

the following document describes the compatibility of LabVIEW and VeriStand installations:

VeriStand 2011 SP1 needs an LabVIEW 2011 or 2011 SP1 installation.

Yes, I have only to do the following:

- Remove all software in RT System where Labview 2012 RT has also installed.

- Install Veristand 2011 SP1

- Reinstall RT System.

In the installation windows, all dependencies of Veristand 2011 (also LVRT 2011 engine) will be installed to RT System.
