Installation of USB/serial port multiplexer driver software on PXI chassis

I recently used MAX to ftp the driver software that came with my Edgeport USB to Serial port multiplexer. The driver software was loaded into the System directory of the NI-RI folder on the PXI chassis. I plugged the USB connector into the PXI chassis. I have no idea what to do next to enable installation of the multiplexer drivers. Please provide some assistance on this matter.

Hello Peter,

Unfortunately not all the devices are supported in RT. To have a device supported in RT you pretty much have to write your own drivers. Please refer to the following link which talks about third party drivers and RT
