Recently I tried to connect a German keyboard from Dolch Computer to the PXI-1025 MegaPAC with a NI PXI 8175 controller instead of the original US-keyboard. Now the following behaviour is observed:
1. If the German keyboard is connected during startup it will NOT be recognized.
2. If I switch the keyboard after a few typings with the original US keyboard, and without rebooting the computer, the German keyboard works without any problems until I reboot the computer. On startup, the keyboard is NO LONGER recognized.
I recently updated the BIOS to the most recent version available on this site.
Is there any solution to this problem?
