Labview RT Desktop PC Licence only on floppies or some other medias

On 09-03-2006 i posted a message with subject " Labview RT on Third Party PXI with no floppy drive".

Rick Kuhlman responded to this message and provide me with PXI booting procedure from USB. BUT My

Main query is this that Labview RT Licence for Desktop PC is only provided on floppies or also provided on some other media

like USB/CD ROM etc .

the procedure " MAX->TOOLS->RT PXI Disk utilities " only prepare floppies not USB/CD-ROM. please tell me any other procedure

which make me capable of making RT Target with help of USB/CD-ROM instead of Floppies.

This KB goes through the process of creating a USB boot disk. Unfortunately you still have to have a computer that has a floppy drive in order to make the boot disk. Then you transfer from the floppy to the USB, and use the USB to boot the PXI controller to install RT.

Following the steps in this KB will give you a USB boot disk.
