MXI 8360

Hi,

I have a Dell precision T3600 and Windows 7 64 bits as OS. My is system is unable to detect neither the 8360 PCI card nor the NI-PXI e 1078. Express card configuration software for bios seems to be useless.

I have tested different slots to insert the card , no way.

The PXI mainframe and its cards are not listed in NI -MAx or  on Windows 7 system  configuation  tool.

I have installes all the NI DAQ drivers

What can I Do ?

For those who find this post using search.  The Dell T3600 had a BIOS problem which prevented it from enumerating PCI devices.  To solve this issue, download BIOS A09 or better from the Dell website, install, then use the BIOS to select detection of more than the default number of PCI devices (e.g. 256 instead of 64).
