Hi everybody,
we are about to use PXI chassis with an embeded realtime controller in a experimental zone (lab) with a big superconducting magnet, which creates quite high residual magnetic field around it, does anybody know what is the maximum magnetic field strength in which PXI hardware works?
(cooling fan limitation?, hard-drive limitation? or some other part that could be harmed by static magnetic field?)
We have quite limited space, so any info would be helpful.
Thanks a lot
Cheers

Hi Daniel,
National Instruments provide EMC certifications for all the products: you can check here for detailed specifications and standards for PXI products.
In case of large electromagnetuc fields, EMC filler panels are also provided.
I hope this helps!
Bye!
