Hi , I have a DUT , which has a Iq of 100uA , when i just turn it ON , however due to some digital circuitry inside , the current spikes to about 10mA , 100-500 uS after powering up the device , can you suggest how to accurately measure these spike current as well as the time it happened after powering up the device , because the current again settles to 100uA after the spike . I Need to exactly measure the current and all the exact timestamps of the above events.
I have already made the aperture time to 1.67us , is there anything else to be done in the system for the above requirement .
If this is not the best way to measure this , can you all suggest a better measurement technique for above.

You can export the captured data from Instrument Studio and post-process it in a programming language of your choice or manually by plotting the data in Excel or other visualization tools.
