Hello,
I’m using PXIe-6358 DAQ, PXIe-8115 controller PC, and BNC-2090A connections module in PXIe-1071 chassis. The PXIe-8115 PC is running Windows7. I am also using NIDAQmx with NI MAX and MATLAB2015b.
Recently, I accidently removed some software items from National Instruments Software pack (which I don't remember their names). I also updated other software items to newer versions that are not compatible with my system. Consequently, both NIDAQmx and MATLAB are not working anymore (not connecting with the hardware or discovering it), as shown in the attached images.
To solve the issue, what do you recommend please? Should uninstall the whole remaining National Instruments Software pack and install it again? Or, should I reinstall the missing parts only. If I reinstall the whole pack, where do I get it from? If I install the missing parts only, can I know which ones based on the attached images?
Many thanks for you help...
Regards,
Ali

Hello Ali,
You will want to uninstall all of the NI software and all of the Matlab software, and then restart your computer. After the restart, you will want to install the NI DAQmx driver. If you are using MATLAB 2015, use the 2015 version of the DAQmx driver. Once that is installed you will need to install MATLAB and the MATLAB NI-DAQmx toolbox.
NI-DAQmx Driver Download
MATLAB NI-DAQmx Support from Data Acquisition Toolbox
Hope this can help solve your issue!

Thank you for your reply. I have fixed it by installing the missing items. NI package manager suggests missing items when you select a related driver.
