NI PXIe-8880 Controller Control the Panasonic Motor by EtherCAT

I have a PXI Platform with PXIe-8880 controller control the motor by EtherCAT. And it works well before!

but now the software environment is broken, so I uninstall all of it. and i can't restore it  because the setup is not set by me. so i now want to know the software i need to install?

when i install the NI-industrial Communication for etherCAT software , the setup program tell me i need install the NI RIO firstly.  Somebody told me i need install the Compact rio driver. but i am confused about this conclusion because my hardware is pxi and not CompactRIO. So can you tell me the driver i really need ?

i  also try to install the compactRIO driver, after that ,i find i can't deploy my PDO parameters to RT and this is ok before.

my labview and labview real-time version is 17.0 .

I would let you know that you can find the required software from the NI EtherCAT readme on the ni.com.

Hi Joy.Shao,

I would let you know that you still need to install the cRIO on the PXI. Because the EtherCAT will rely on an assembly which is provided by the CompactRIO.

As you said that you can't deploy my PDO parameters to RT after installing the cRIO, this problem may be caused by Incorrect software installation order. I suggest that you follow the EtherCAT readme and re-install the software.

My software installation order: 1、Labivew 2、Labview real-time module 3、CRIO driver 4、NI-Industrial communication for etherCAT. . so i don't think the installation order is incorrect. and when i deploy PDO parameters to RT, it always report a error indicated i need install NI scan engine and the others I/O drivers. But as i know CRIO driver have NI scan engine and i have install all for Deploy PDO.

I have found the reason that the driver is prohibited by antivirus program.
