I installed NI Embedded Data Logger on our test system PC. It looks like this installation also updated the NI-XNET software on the host PC. When I now try to run the Veristand configuration of our system, I get an error indicating that the NI-XNET version between the host and target are different. Is there a way to update the NI-XNET software on our PXI target? The error message seems to indicate this is possible but I do not know how. This is the first time that I have worked with Veristand and PXI devices. I cannot find any obvious way to do this.
Replacing the indicated XNET database in system explorer does not fix the problem. It just fails on another database file. I went trough this loop about 10 times before I decided that there must be a better way.

Hi there,
You will need to download the matching XNET driver version. It needs to be the same as your version of LabVIEW Realtime. Once that is installed, restart your computer. Afterwards, open MAX and expand “Remote Systems”, and then expand your PXI controller.
Right click on Software >>> Add/Remove Software. Find NI-XNET in the list, select the new version, and set it to install. Then all you have to do is click next to install.
NI XNET Download Page
Hope this helps!
