Hello All,
As the title says, I need assistance with solving the PXI-4065 device not recognizable in Teststand issue. I replaced one of the PXI-4065 device with a calibrated one that was removed from the chassis a year ago. There was no issue running programs with the calibrated PXI-4065 prior to calibration. However, the device is now unrecognizable in Teststand. Though I am able to see the device as "DEV1" in MAX.
The error message that appears when attempting to run a program goes as follow: [Error]: VI:SequenceFileLoad.vi.ProxyCaller Message:DMM_208V: Initialization Failed - Device was not recognized. The device is not supported with this driver or version.
Any advice or guidance will be very helpful and greatly appreciated. Some information for which NI chassis I am using, operating system and error message are provided below:
PXI-1042 Chassis
Windows 10

Hello!
You can reset the MAX configuration data under the tools menu- you will need to restart the computer. It may also help to properly identify the chassis in MAX by right clicking on the chassis, choosing “identify as”, and selecting the PXI-1042.
If this doesn’t work, you may want to reinstall the NI-DMM driver. Do you know if the driver was updated or changed since the device was removed? It may not be supported with your version of Test Stand. You can expand the software section in MAX and take a screenshot.
You may need to downgrade the NI-DMM driver to an earlier version- those downloads can be found here.

Hi Apex_Waves,
SOLVED!!!!!!
Thank you for providing your input and suggestions. It helped me a lot to pin-point and solve the issue. TestStand could not recognized the calibrated PXI-4065 card because the device name on the calibrated PXI-4065 device was changed. I reset NI-MAX after troubleshooting the issue by reading previous posts and various forums. However, as you noted, I did not properly identify the Chassis or have the correct device names for each device in NI-MAX. Therefore, Teststand could not execute.
I am now able to run TestStand without any error codes once all the chassis and device names were properly identified in NI-MAX.
Thank you again.
Best Regards,
