Note: I'm using NI-MAX 20.0
I'm basically brand new to PXIe boards and their associated cards, and I'm trying to debug some software someone else wrote.
From what I've been able to deduce by looking the C# code, it's using the 6562 card in my PXI-1082 chassis to generate a digital signal.
I want to verify that the digital signal is what I think it is, so I'd like to display the signal on an oscilloscope.
Any suggestions on how to do this? I was planning on connecting the 6562 cable to an SMA-2164 card. I figured I could connect a 'scope probe to one of the test point on the SMA-2164 card. However, I can't figure out how to tell the 6562 to generate the signal outside of the existing software. I thought NI-MAX had some sort of user interface I could use to command the 6562 directly but if it's there, I can't find it. Did earlier version of NI-MAX have the kind of user interface I'm looking for? If so, is there something similar in NI-MAX 20.0? Or do I have to "downgrade" to an earlier version of LabView and NI-MAX?
