PXI-1010 not identified in MAX PCIe-8361

Just to update on the issue.

We got the 8.10 drivers from Aeroflex and proceeded to install. Unfortunatelly the issue remains.

Also, we tried to remove all PXI cards from the rack (excluding the NI-PXI-8360) and the problem still remained.

We are now waiting from further advice from Aeroflex / Cobham (or maybe the forum?). Also, we shall be able to try a similar rack around.

I'm wondering now if there is a power issue in the rack (the switch would apparently not allow to turn it off), or maybe the NI PXI-8360 itself.

Regards,

Marc

Hi Marc,

Thanks for being so patient with the issue that you've been having. Can you try that similar rack and see if the problem persists and update the thread afterwards?

What do you mean that the switch would apartment not allow to turn it off? Does that mean you're rebooting the chassis with the power rack still on? A little confused about that.

In addition, do you think we can simplify the test system altogether just for testing and have only one computer/tower and only the chassis hooked up with the correct driver version to eliminate the possibility of the chassis being broken itself? Has this ever worked before?
