PXI-2586 stopped working with no error

I use PXI-2586 to key the Digital Modular Radio (DMR) in Transmission test. Everything worked well before. Now, when I run the test, the DMR is not keyed any more, but no error is returned either. I tried to look at the Test Panel in MAX while running the test, it showed the relay closed when the LabVIEW program keyed the DMR. I tried with different channels of DMR and different channels of PXI-2586, but I got the same problem. I tried to add the delay, it still did not work. When I ran the test, the channel at DMR was loaded, so the connection should be fine.

I keyed the DMR manually (without using LabVIEW), it worked fine. Everything looked ok to me, except the DMR is not keyed. I don't know what else to try. Could you please give me some help?

Thank you very much.

When you say that you are trying to key the Digital Modular Radio, do you mean that you are closing the SPST relay? You can confirm with a resistance measurement (infinity if open, low resistance if closed) across the terminals to determine if the device is actually opening and closing when you tell it to. This test can be done in both Labview and in Test panels to confirm that the switch is closing properly. If you have any more information, this will allow us to better understand the problem and provide more potential solutions. Thanks!

Thanks a lot for your help, Frank. Yes, Keying the DMR means closing the SPST relay. I used the Resistance measurement to measure the resistance between terminals on PXI-2586, but it always showed infinity even the test panel said the relay was closed. I think the card just stopped working. I will call in to get the RMA #.

Thanks,

Hi, did you find a solution to the problem?

And what was the problem with the relays?
