What is IAS software? I think you are using the software that offered by highvolt company? It looks like it needs the software key to register it.
About the MAX, it cannot detect 5122 properly. And even you have no activation key for the software, the MAX still be able to connect 5122 and let you do some basic operation like test panel. I would recommend you confirm few things to make sure the hardware is functional first:
- chassis model.
- confirm the driver installation: NI-PXI Platform Services, NI Scope
- confirm the PXI slot is compatible with the module (if it is possible, take a picture inside the chassis and the module, so that someone here could help you confirm the slot is compatible)
