I recently began working with a PXI-8196, It was locked with a passsword so I reverted to the factory settings via the FirstWare software included. It freshly installed XP and left me with a couple of programs. I attempted to upgrade the software using the software wizard but it couldnt connect to the NI network. I decided to try manually upgrading the labVIEW run time so that it would be compatible with labVIEW 2015 but I was wondering if there was an easier way to upgrade all the software at once. Like an updated upgrade wizard. Also, upgrading MAX would be splendid. If you can help me figure out how to go about getting the PXI ready to roll using modern software itd be a huge help.
