PXI Based Instrumentation Lab Control

Hello,

There are the following questions

1) The above system is wanted to develop on PXI based, how to handle as such a big system ?
2) How can multiple developers work on a single system ? What NI offer ?
3) How more than one monitoring systems are possible to monitor the system ?
4) As there are more than 2000 signals (wires), how to manage these huge quantity of wires ?
5) What is the best controller you suggest, is embedded or rackmount or remote?
6) I personaly like Labwindow,
6) My previous experience was very bad with advantech PCI1751 digital cards that uses 68-pin SCSII connector that damage card connector because the SCSII cable weight was very heavy.
7) For the overall system with design respect what NI engineers suggect to build-up an easy accessable, manageable, traceable, and reliable system ?

I would recommend that you contact your local NI Sales Engineer. There isn't much detail in your drawing.

For the physical connections, both Virginia Panel and Mac Panel offer solutions. There may be others but these are two that I've used.
