PXI/PCI IGOR

Hi there

I have question concerning the MXI-4 Kit: Using that, can I just use my PXI modules as if they were PCI? The reason why I ask is that I use IGOR and wavemetrics makes no statement about NI PXI-Hardware.

MXI-4 is  a bus extender, so all your PXI or CompactPXI boards you will plug into the PXI-Chassis will be recognized by your computer as a PCI-board, and can be used in a normal way, as if you would have them plugged in directly into the PCI slot (as long as you have a windows driver of course).
