PXI-RF switch visa resources not recognized in LV 8.2

Installed LV8.2 and everything seems to be working ok. MAX recognizes my GPIB and my PXI-1044 chassis as well as the 3 switch cards installed in the backplane (1-2599 and 2-2597 RF switch cards) and installed the drivers.

The problem is, when I try to open a visa session to control these switches, LV 8.2 does not recognize the visa resources (the switches in the PXI chassis).

I have LV 8.0 installed on 2 other dell XP machines and they both recognize the visa resources.

Hi,

Thank you for posting to the NI forums.  This problem can occur when the VISA drivers are not either not installed or not current.  Make sure that you have the updated VISA drivers for your computer.  Post back if you have further problems.
