PXI and Aeroflex 3035C

Hello,

I ahve a PXI Chasis 1040Q with a National Instrument Controller PXI-8106 that has Labview Real Time 8.5 installed on it. I am trying to use the Aeroflex RF Digitizer with that Chasis and Controller. So is there a way to deploy the 3035C driver into the PXI-8106 controller?

Hi Victor,

You should confirm with Aeroflex that the digitizer driver is real-time compatible. From information I have read, this doesn't seem to be the case, but I would contact them first. If this is the case, then you can use the Call Library Function node within LabVIEW to access the dll.  For information about programming the digitizer in LabVIEW, take a look at this app note from Aeroflex:

Thanks for your suggestion Jim,  I belive the digitizer is compatible with real time but I will contact aeroflex just to make sure. Here are some more deatils on my problem. I have a laptop (with labview real time installed on it) that is connected (via Ethernet) to a PXI chasi with the PXI-8106 Controller (which the labview Real Time enviroment installed on it). So I am trying to find out how to make the PXI-8106 recognize the Aeroflex Digitizer 3035C
