PXI compatibility with LabVIEW 2011

Hello,

I have a PXI-1042 chassis/PXI-8186 Embedded Controller with PXI-4060/5421/5122 instruments.  Can I upgrade to LabVIEW 2011 or I may get compatibilty issues?  Not sure if my PXI-8186 can handle LV2011.

Hi Haroon,

The PXI-8186 has the required memory and processor specifications to run LabVIEW 2011, so you shouldn't have any issues on the hardware side. As long as you are running Windows XP service pack 2 or Windows 7, you should have all of the required software capability. Always keep in mind when upgrading LabVIEW that all modules, toolkits, and drivers will need to be reinstalled to be recognized in the LabVIEW environment.
