Are you seeing this behavor on multiple systems or just one?

Just the one Windows 8 test control that I have now. We are setting up more systems with Win8 and will be watching those. The windows 7 systems with PXI are not showing the problem to date.

You are the first customer who has reported this sort of wide corruption. It is possible it could be a hardware failure (memory or disk) on this one controller. Please let us know if you see any issues when you upgrade any of the other controllers.
We will continue to look into the issue on our side to see if we can reproduce the issue as well. What sort of settings have you configured in MAX? Do you just have device names, or do you have tasks, channels, or scales configured in MAX?

I do not anything special configured in MAX. The only instruments on the system is the one PXI chassis with a PXI-2529 switch card and also an Agilent 4155 Parametric tester. Looks like it is not the database corrupting, but only the handle to the PXI. I only rebooted last time to fix the problem. I did not have to clear to refresh the PXI database.I only power cycled the PXI and rebooted the computer and it came back up OK.

Handle to the PXI chassis or the switch card. Can you include a screen shot of what you are seeing?

The MAX interface shows issues connecting to any hardware and the PXI chassis. I attached screen shot of MAX with bad configuration and good one. Clearly the PXI Slot2 and PXI handles to the instruments are corrupt and invalid.
