PXI local bus access

Do any of the NI PXI products provide access to the PXI local bus?

Currently there is no NI PXI product for the purpose. However, there is information about PXI hardware and signals available on pxisa.org since PXI is an open design standard.

I can only think of two types of boards we make which use the local bus:

The PXI R Series boards (also known as the FPGA boards) can route triggers to the local bus lines.

When using a DMM to control a SCXI switch in a PXI/SCXI combo chassis, triggers can be passed between the two on the local bus lines. However, this is very specific to this application and cannot be used for other purposes.
