I can only think of two types of boards we make which use the local bus:
The PXI R Series boards (also known as the FPGA boards) can route triggers to the local bus lines.
When using a DMM to control a SCXI switch in a PXI/SCXI combo chassis, triggers can be passed between the two on the local bus lines. However, this is very specific to this application and cannot be used for other purposes.
