PXI system cannot be identified by the PC

PC doesn't see the PXI system. When I tried to install the service platform for chassis and controller ver 2.5. A message states that a higher version is already installed.

Can you expand on the hardware you are using (Chassis, Controller, Devices, etc.)?  Do you have a MXI connection to your PC?  Have you identified the chassis in MAX?  Here is a Knowledgebase article that describes this process.
