PXIe to PCIe Carrier Board Development

Hi Everyone

I am designing PXIe to USB hub carrier board. 

And for prototyping purposes, I am using COTS PCIe to USB card.

I have made a simple PXIe to a PCIe carrier board and connected RX and Tx lines and RefClks respectively (x1). 

I haven't connected any SMBus, Wake#, Reset or any other signals. 

I am using a PXIe 8135 controller with PXIe-1082 chassis to test the carrier board.

After inserting the card is not detected by the OS. What am I doing wrong?

Is there any signal level differences between  PXIe and PCIe line signal levels?

Hi Narekengineer30, 

When you say it is not detected by the OS, are you saying you don't see any change in device manager after rebooting? Do you have a driver for the PCIe Card?

I don't have any experience in designing PXIe modules, but I'd look into getting help from a developer kit.
