Trace in MAX of a NI-DAQmx Global Virtual Channel

I would like to visualize a trace in "Historical data" bound to a NI-DAQmx Global Virtual Channel. Is it possble? How?

Besides the NI-DAQmx Global Virtual Channel, I also created a shared variable in my project bound to the NI-DAQmx Global Virtual Channel. In my case the path is \\FAST_SCADA_PC\Analog Inputs\PIT5-SCC.
