First you need to check if your Software is under the SSP program, if it is then the original buyer should get the free update for it and you need to ask him for the discs, the serial number stays the same.
If you dont have SSP, then you need to buy the upgrade.
In any case i would recommend you call National Instruments to the following number if you are in Mexico: 018000100793. There ask for a sales representative andgive him your serial number, that way he can tell you if you are due for the upgrade or if you need to buy and the price in case you do.
