Want a non-latching set of relays similar to the pxi-2568

When power fails or is accidently shut off I need the relays to fail open and not be latched to either state.  Is there another NI product or another vendor with a compatible product?

Hi Don,

There is not an exact non-latching equivalent of the PXI-2568 among NI's PXI switch offerings.  However, I can tell you of two non-latching general purpose SPST relay modules that NI has to offer:

• PXI-2565
• PXI-2586

Depending on your exact requirements for channel count, max voltage/current, scan rate, etc., one of these modules may work for you.  Please take a look at the specifications and let me know if you have any questions.
