We are justifying the use of LabVIEW RT in a safety related application and as part of the case we are searching for information/evidence regarding the tools and standards used for the development of the LabVIEW RT operating system (NB development of the system itself not application development).

I'm not exactly sure what you are asking for but I think your question would best be answered by creating a support request and speaking to an applications engineer. You can do this by going to www.ni.com/ask.
