Why do I have to log in twice to my pxi-8175?

I use the same user ID and password twice to log on. The first log in attempt takes away my login popup, but does nothing else. I have to do a "ctl, alt, del", log out and log right back in again. Then it goes right into Windows with no more problem.

This happens every time I reboot. Why?

Hey Eugene,

You didn't mention what OS you were running on your controller, but I would first suggest upgrading to the latest service pack for your OS from Microsoft.

I also spoke with you through our email support, but wanted to follow up with you here as well. I also have some questions on top of what Josh has asked. This might help us out here.

1. If you log off, does the problem happen again or is it only after you reboot.
2. Has this PXI controller always had this problem with Windows, or did it just start recently.
3. If you create a new Administrative user, does this happen also or is it only for one profile.

As I mentioned in the email, I don't see this being reported by other Windows users, so it appears to be a fairly rare occurance. Thanks for your help.
