can I use Flex Motion to drive actuators by a torque signal

I'm going to control a parallel Kinematic Machine with a torqe control that means my control system is going to compute (on the basis of the dynamic of the robot) the torque requested for robots actuators. I gave a look to the PXI-Flex Motion Board (for PXI controller..I was thinking about a PXI chassis and controller) but it seems to me that this bord accepts only speed or position references..some of you can please tell me if I can give as input reference the desired torque o current??

Allessandra,
Our controller cards do not directly communicate with the motors. Typically, you will need a drive (amplifier) to interpret the command siganls and output the appropriate voltage or current to the motors. In this case, our 7652/7654 servo drive could be used. They are torque controled units that use positional feedback to appropriately adjust the current output to the motors and correct response.
