pxi-1031 chassis keeps crashing on AMD 64-bit processor

I'm using a pxi-1031 chassis with two pxi4472 cards to stream data on a 64bit AMD dual processor. Labview crashes once a while. Every time it fails, windows XP gets stuck at the loading logo page and refuses to load. is there a compatibility issue among the 64bit processor, the chassis and the OS?

Hello Graduate Student,
Assuming that you are running your AMD64 processors in 32-bit mode (32-bit Windows XP), your configuration should be supported and we do not know of any issues.

We appreciate the report, but more details are necessary if we are to take action on this issue. First I would recommend upgrading your NI-DAQ software to the latest version available on our NI Software Downloads page. Next please go to Start >> Settings >> Control Panel >> System >> Advanced >> Startup and Recovery. In the System Failure box uncheck Automatically Restart and set the Write Debugging Information to the "Kernel Memory Dump" selection. If you experience this issue again, a memory.dmp will be generated that has a reason
able chance of holding useful information to resolve this issue. Other helpful information would include: how to reproduce this issue (details), versions of all NI software installed/used on your system, sensitivity/response to different variables, and snapshots of your Windows Device Manager (Control Panel >> System >> Hardware >> Device Manager then snapshot both the View Devices by Connection and View Resources by Connection with all twiddles open).

If you can provide us with enough information, we can resolve this issue.

Sincerely,
Jeremiah
